The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka appeared in the 2010 film "Badmash Company" with Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang, Vir Das. The film received mixed praises. Anushka Sharma was in the movie "Band Baaja Baaraat. The actress played a Punjabi woman in the middle class who owns her own wedding business. It received positive reviews. The Band Baaja Baaraat anushka's three-film deal under the Yash Raj Films banner was complete.
